Origins of the Family Piknik 2021

The first editing of the Family Piknik Music Festival was held way back in 2012. Prior to that, the organizer of the festival DJ Tom Pooks me with an accident that kept him off the music scene for close to a year.

During this time, he came up with a new idea to promote music which resulted in one of the best electronic music festivals in France. The idea behind the music festival was simple - A family-friendly, one-day open-air festival that offered live music from various popular underground DJs.


From 2012, Family hosted many popular headliners such as Riche Hawtin, Solomun, Loco Dice, Sven Väth, Marco Carola and many more.
